Sweet Surrender (Sarah McLachlan song)
"Sweet Surrender" is a song written and co-produced by Sarah McLachlan, from her multi-platinum album Surfacing, first released in 1998.
The song was released as the album second single with a video directed by Floria Sigismondi (as Allen Smithee[1]). A maxi-single with remixes by DJ Tiesto was released in 2001 making the single to peak at number 6 on the Hot Dance Club Play charts three years after its original release. In 1998, the song peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. The radio mix of the song was used in its official music video. The song was also featured in the film Wildflowers starring Daryl Hannah.
